Con l’arrivo di The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt su PlayStation 4, la serie firmata CD Project RED esordisce sui sistemi PlayStation. Questo ha portato diversi utenti a pensare alla possibilità di un porting dei primi due capitoli su PS3. La software house ha fatto sapere però, rispondendo direttamente agli utenti, che non ci sono piani per portare per The Witcher o The Witcher: Assassins of Kings su PlayStation 3.Ricordiamo infine che l’arrivo di The Witcher 3 è atteso per PC, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One durante il 2014.
